After taking your first steps in Swedish it is important to keep your language skills up to date. I often hear from learners who after making that initial breakthrough in Swedish, fall back into using their mother tongue in the workplace and socially. They never truly forget the basics but become rusty and find it harder to access their active vocabulary. With the new year upon us why not brush up on your Swedish and set yourself small goals each day such as talking to one colleague for 15 minutes in Swedish over a coffee (you know how much we love our fika!). With small goals met you will rediscover your enjoyment of learning and be able to progress to the next level.
